Voronezh

At least that's how I pronounce it.  After a visit to Ukraine, my wife brought back a present for me, which was a speaker in a wooden box.  I refinished it, replaced the speaker with a better sounding one, and installed an RCA jack where the volume control was.  I now use it with my BC-348Q given to me by my dear friend Franny Moy.

In discussing this item with my wife, She explained to me that many of the community buildings in the former Soviet countries had audio from three radio stations in the buildings.  You would purchase your own speaker such as this one, and plug it into a two prong banana jack type of outlet in your apartment.

Voronezh is a relatively large city in Russia where radios and speakers were made, and is a very industrious city today.
