Silvertone Model 1650 Lowboy

I bought this from Purple Moon antiques in Sterling, Massachusetts sometime around the year 2000.  At that time, I noticed that it was very clean inside and thought that it probably wouldn't take much to get it running.

It took only a day of recapping and rewiring to have the radio functional, but the cabinet would take months to refinish.

In June of 2008, I finally finished restoring the cabinet.

On July 1st, I took this picture of the radio in its home.
